The 2025 LA Inferno
1.28.2025

How about terraced walls (20 feet hi)
to redirect the wind
away from densely populated areas.

Typically the Santa Ana winds
blow downhill.

How about govt supplied cisterns
(that collect rain water)
per community,

that cood be tapped into
for fire emergencies,
or simply watering vegetation.

1.17.2025

I didnt know LA was a tinderbox
(one fire devastates the Palisades,
in just a few days,
a devastating march to the sea).

Maybe its Global Warming
(fire tornadoes witnessed during the Palisades fire,
tornadoes witnessed in LA the other yr,
hurricane force winds)

If so, perhaps the rebuilding effort
shood be in stone structures.

Maybe LA shood shut down in high winds.

Next time (in high winds)
maybe firemen cood deploy an ember screen
(portable wire mesh fence, 20 feet high,
designed to capture or stop embers,
in their tracks)

Last week, as the raging inferno,
threatened to pour into Encino,

I noticed an ember cloud,
lighting up the nite sky , with a red glow
(about 20 feet above the ridge
that seperates encino from the Palisades).

Coincidental History

Jimmy Carter (from Georgia)
was laid at the Capitol Rotunda

one hour and 10 minutes,
after the fire ignited in the Palisades.

It was Atlanta Georgia that was targetted
during the Civil War,
when General Tecumsah Sherman
ordered the burning of Atlanta,
to prepare for his devastating march to the sea.

After the Klan formed in 1865,
they had a penchant for burning crosses.

Is LA now too weak to resist ICE?

A devastating pandemic marked Trumps first term,
now LA's 9.11 marks his second term,
for a man famous for saying "yor Fired".
